Maryland SoccerPlex Camps and Youth Sports Programs take place at a multi-field sports complex that includes both outdoor fields and indoor fieldhouse space. The program uses a facility that includes 24 professionally maintained fields and multiple indoor fieldhouse areas for youth sports activities.

The camps and youth sports programs are run by the Maryland Soccer Foundation, a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization. The Maryland Soccer Foundation funds the operation of Maryland SoccerPlex, Adventist HealthCare Fieldhouse, and SAM Soccer, and organizes or hosts events that create economic impact for the community through sports tourism. The leadership team includes Gary Burke, SAM Select Manager; Gary Wheeler, SAM Recreational Manager; Micah Livsey, Marketing Manager; and Krista Brick, Sponsorship Manager.
On January 21, 1999, the Montgomery County Planning Board approved a proposal to build a $19 million soccer complex in Germantown, Maryland, and the Maryland SoccerPlex opened for play in October 2000. In 2008, three lighted synthetic turf fields were added, and the 24-field build-out was completed in 2016 with the addition of fields 1 and 2. In 2020, the Adventist HealthCare Fieldhouse polyurethane floor was resurfaced and LED lighting was installed. A joint venture between the Maryland Soccer Foundation and the Maryland-National Capital Park and Planning Commission created what is described as the largest premier recreational facility in the Washington Capitol Region, with an advanced drainage system on many fields to decrease the need to cancel or delay events due to inclement weather.
