Ancestral Knowledge Youth & Teen Programs and Camps offers the Homeschool Naturalist Program, Little Explorers- Adventure Learning for Kids, Wilderness Skills, Environmental Education & Nature Awareness for Homeschool Teens, youth programs, Summer Day Camps, Overnight Camps, Wolfpack- Nature Connection & Earthskills for Families, Field Trips and Field Days, and Custom Workshops and Programs. Summer Day Camps are 100% outdoor and include forest exploration, games, and hands-on projects. The homeschool naturalist program is a 100% outdoor program, and Field Trips and Field Days take students deep into the forests of local park systems.

About the provider
Ancestral Knowledge was the first organization in the DC Metro Area to offer educational programs in this field of expertise. Its mission statement is Explore – Discover – Create – Empower.
These are drop off programs with age appropriate activities. Financial Aid is available for those in need of assistance. For overnight camps, forms needed include release waiver, Field Form, camper health history, and Medical Information Form. Children under 15 must be accompanied by an adult for Wild Basketry.
