Whitman Summer Camp offers three distinct options in one program: Day Camp, Camp Open Road, and a Leaders In Training experience. The camp uses intentional programming that gives campers choices throughout the day, and the camp program is based on camper choices. It is run as a family business, and staff are described as fun-loving, adventure-seeking, and slightly zany.

Whitman Summer Camp is opening its 17th summer of camp. The camp’s mission statement says that Whitman Summer Camp strives to be the one place where campers and counselors can be their true authentic selves, without the pressures of the outside world messing things up. The leadership team includes Jenn Whitman as Founder and Chief Visionary Officer, Doug Whitman as Founder and Executive Director, Emily Samara-Holtzer as Director of Camp Operations, Nick Holtzer as Director of Programming, Max Whitman as Director of Marketing and Director of Leadership, Matt Henry as Activity Specialist for Camp Open Road, and Luke Whitman as Bus Staff.
