About
Whitman Summer Camp offers three distinct camp options in one convenient location. Campers can take part in Camp Open Road and a Leaders In Training program. The camp uses intentional programming that gives campers choices throughout the day, so campers create their own experience based on their individual and unique choices.

• Schedule: Registration opens January 4th, 2026 at 9:00 am
Whitman Summer Camp is opening its 17th summer of camp. It is a family business led by a team that includes Jenn Whitman (Founder, Chief Visionary Officer), Doug Whitman (Founder, Executive Director), Emily Samara-Holtzer (Director of Camp Operations), Nick Holtzer (Director of Programming), Max Whitman (Director of Marketing, Director of Leadership), Matt Henry (Activity Specialist, Camp Open Road), and Luke Whitman (Bus Staff). The camp’s stated mission is that Whitman Summer Camp strives to be the one place where campers and counselors can be their true authentic selves, without the pressures of the outside world messing things up.
