Forest Hill Dance

Forest Hill Dance offers a Performance Program, Recreation Classes, summer intensive classes, and summer camps. Students can take classes in Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Modern, Lyrical, Pointe, Hip Hop, Creative Movement, and Pre-Ballet. The Performance Program includes a large end-of-the-year production, and Creative Movement and Pre-Ballet classes end with an in-studio performance for families. A competition team is available for dancers age 8 and above, and new dancers are placed based on age and previous dance experience, with possible class placement adjustments after classes begin so dancers are grouped where all can learn the same techniques and choreography.

• Schedule: Performance Program runs from September to May, with performance activities from September to May/June and registration beginning July 1; Recreation Classes run in two sessions, spring and fall, with registration in July and December and sessions starting in September and January; Day Time Recreation Program runs in 6-, 8-, or 12-week sessions

Forest Hill Dance states that it provides all students the opportunity to study with professional instructors at a cost all families can afford and encourages artistry and creativity in all students. Instructors are described as personable and fully certified to teach dancing at all levels. Forest Hill Dance is run by a committee of volunteers. The facility used by the program has two studios, each equipped with sprung dance floors and mirrors with wall-mounted barres.
