The Playroom is a 5,500 square foot STEAM play space where children can take part in drop-in play in the STEAM Center, explore the indoor playset, and build with life-size foam blocks. Children can design on the magnetic maze wall, frolic in Toddler Territory, speed racecars down ramps, and drive Thomas the Tank Engine around the giant train table. The space also includes ball pits, climbing structures, magnetic maze and gear walls, a LEGO table, a race track, a puppet theater, ride-ons, and activities such as StoryPlay, Pre-School Prep, Princess Adventure, Sensory Play, and STEM/STEAM.

• Schedule: Open 7 days a week from 9am–3pm for daily drop-in play
• Price: The nominal fee is for ALL DAY PLAY.
The Playroom states that adults are required to stay with their children and play together, and that The Playroom runs on kid power. The Playroom notes, “Don’t forget your socks!” for visits. The mission of The Playroom is to provide a nurturing environment where children can create, explore, and discover, and to maintain high levels of instruction, festive celebrations, and daily unlimited play.
Ms. Keri is the owner, operator, and StoryPlay teacher at The Playroom, and her credentials include a BA in Adaptive Physical Education and an MS in Early Childhood Special Education.
