Since 1991, Bright Eyes Early Learning Centers has been dedicated to providing a home away from home experience in a strong learning environment and has continued to provide families in Montgomery, Frederick, and Washington Counties with quality early learning programs. The mission at Bright Eyes is to provide children with a loving, stimulating environment where they are free to grow, learn, and explore in the guidance of warm and gentle caregivers. The program follows Maryland State Department of Education (MSDE) approved curriculum, stays current with early learning best practices, and offers an array of flexible care options to fit the needs of families, including full-time and part-time options for all ages and flexible care to accommodate family care needs.
Bright Eyes Early Learning Centers has educated and nurturing teachers, the best early childhood educators, and nurturing and friendly staff, and is dedicated to providing staff with multiple opportunities for growth, training, and development. The leadership team includes Diane & Pete Holzberger, President & Vice President of Bright Eyes Inc. The program welcomes individuals of all abilities, has an appreciation for diversity, and will help all children celebrate their heritage and individuality while promoting skills for conflict resolution. It will support children’s primary language through songs, activities, and learning words and phrases to better communicate with the child and families, and it celebrates culture and diversity while welcoming parents as active participants in programs and activities.
Bright Eyes Early Learning Centers offers several program extensions to get children up and moving to promote a healthy lifestyle and provides healthy snacks and lunches at several locations that follow Maryland State Department of Education (MSDE) guidelines. The daily schedule is developmentally appropriate for children’s age and skill level and is based on current early childhood best practices. The program includes safety protocols, health monitoring, temperature checks, and cleaning and sanitizing to minimize the spread of COVID-19, and it accepts all state and local vouchers. Families are reminded that it is a good time to make sure all contact information is current and all immunization records are up-to-date.
Bright Eyes Early Learning Centers has received multiple awards, including Frederick News Post 2017 and 2019 Best of the Best Child Care Center, Washington Magazines 2018 Best for Families Award Winner for Montgomery County, Macaroni Kid 2018 Daisy Award Winner for Mt. Airy, Hula Frog's 2018 Most Loved Childcare for Hagerstown, and Best of Gaithersburg 2019 Best of the Best Child Care Center and Preschool Award Winner. The program highlights “Where Learning is FUN!”, “Excellence in Early Education,” and notes that its Summer Program is available.
