About
Kids Villa Learning Center offers daily activities that include soccer, running obstacles, playing games, and other sports related activities. Children take part in language arts, reading, math, social studies, science, art, music, and physical fitness. The program also includes field trips, Career Day, Grandparents Day, Back to School Night, and free parent workshops.

Kids Villa Learning Center uses curriculum approved by the Maryland State Department of Education, including The Success for All Curriculum for ages 4–5 and the Creative Curriculum for ages 2–3. The program’s curricular areas include Physical Development, Social & Emotional Development, Language & Literacy, Logic & Reasoning, and Creative Expression. The staff members are described as qualified and experienced teachers who guide children using research-based standards and Maryland Department of Education certification credentials.
The Kids Villa Learning Center philosophy begins with the motto “All Children Can Learn!” and states that every child can and will learn, though not always in the same way. The program states that it is the educators’ responsibility to search for what works with each child and to provide supports that help each child in their own way. The mission statement also says that the center embraces and celebrates the diversity of all children ethnically, racially, linguistically, mentally, physically, and developmentally, and that parental involvement lies at the heart of every child’s development, with an emphasis on keeping communication open at all times.
Kid's Villa Germantown is accredited by the Maryland State Department of Education. Kid's Villa Waring Station Road is licensed by the Maryland State Department of Education, is an accredited MSDE program, and is a participant of Maryland EXCELS. The program uses curriculum approved by the Maryland State Department of Education and follows Maryland Department of Education certification credentials. Kid's Villa Waring Station Road has been providing child care for over 7 years.
Kids Villa Learning Center describes three locations: Germantown, Waring Station Road, and Urbana. At Kids Villa Urbana, there is a secure keypad entry system, streaming video service in all eight classrooms divided by age group, two spacious fenced-in playgrounds divided by age group and accessible directly from the classrooms, and a third play area that is a large fenced-in grass field used for soccer, obstacle courses, games, and other sports activities.
The program states that it strives to build strong relationships with parents and that collaboration with parents is viewed as key to a happy and healthy child care environment. Parent involvement is encouraged through participation in field trips, classroom volunteering, parent conferences, monthly family-center events, Career Day, Grandparents Day, Back to School Night, free parent workshops, and a Parent Advisory Committee that gives parents input on preschool and child care program operations.
