About
Girl Scout Howard County Day Camp offers theme-centered activities that include crafts, STEM projects, games, dance, and songs. The program also offers archery for campers in 3rd grade and up. The camp is run entirely by volunteers and operates each summer as a 100% volunteer-run camp.
• Ages: 6–18 years old
• Schedule: One week of camp, Session One from June 29 to July 3, 2026, with camp hours from 9:00 am to 3:30 pm
• Price: 1st to 5th Grade: $225; 6th Grade: $240; PA Training (7th Grade): $225; Program Aides (8th–12th): $100
GSHCDC has provided a place for kids to grow for more than 40 years. The camp uses CampDoc for camp registration, and general training is held in person. Program Aides are trusted youth volunteers who assist staff and adult volunteers in leading younger campers. Adult volunteers can guarantee placement for one or more of their campers. The camp phone is answered from 8:15 am to 4:30 pm each day when camp is in session. The program shares that it looks ahead with a commitment to continue offering an affordable, outdoor growth experience for campers and expresses gratitude for continued support. The camp notes that it found its current home through the kindness of a community partner and invites support for equipment and supplies through an Amazon Wish List.
