Bar-T Kids Camp and School Year Programs states that its mission is to provide after-school childcare, summer day camps, outdoor education, corporate team building, and events, along with a variety of fun, educational school year programs and summer day camps that fuel children’s emerging interests and talents. The organization notes that it has had 50 Years of Positive Impact and describes its community as safe and nurturing with a resounding positive impact on generations of Maryland families. One parent, Erin R., describes being thrilled with Kids Camp and calls the environment inclusive and the staff amazing. Other parents and former participants describe Bar-T as a fantastic place with long-lasting memories, praise the camp and before and after school programs and staff, and highlight management and counselors, the range of activities, and the focus on making the kids’ time enjoyable. Additional testimonials mention that children were engaged with activities instead of watching TV after school, that staff at Mountainside made summer “over the top fun” and safe, and that Bar-T made one family’s son excited about the learning process with daily stimulating and enriching activities.
