Right Start Academy includes creative, teacher-guided activities, hands-on learning, and time in STEM & Discovery Centers. Children spend time building, experimenting, and practicing problem-solving as part of the daily routine.

Right Start Academy was established in 2008. The program states its mission as “Warm hearts, growing minds, and the right start for every child, ages two through five.” It offers two thoughtfully designed programs for 2s & 3s and for 4s & 5s, with daily Literacy & Math Blocks that are age-appropriate, hands-on, and joyful, along with Social-Emotional Learning using the Second Step curriculum. The program includes STEM & Discovery Centers and serves Anne Arundel County families in Gambrills and now Glen Burnie. It is MSDE Licensed and licensed by the Maryland State Department of Education under License # 153311.
Nutritious meals are included each day, with CACFP-compliant breakfast, lunch, and snacks served. School uniforms, including polos, sweaters, cardigans, skirts, and more embroidered with the Right Start Academy logo, are available to order online in sizes 2T through XS and are picked up at school. Virtual tours are available upon request, and the enrollment process includes tour, application, and registration steps.
