School of Rock Gambrills

School of Rock Gambrills offers performance-based music education that combines weekly private music lessons with weekly group rehearsals and group music lessons. Students take part in one-on-one instruction, band practices, and live performances, and can also work on songwriting, arrangement, music theory, songwriting exercises, lyrical workshops, and recording original songs. The program includes options such as the Little Wing program for preschoolers and toddlers, the Rookies program for children with no previous musical experience, the Rock 101 program for kids and beginners, the Performance Program, a Songwriting program that ends with a live showcase or recorded demo, and an Adult Program for students over 18 years old.

The program states that it is a growing and passionate community dedicated to enriching lives through performance-based music education and uses a patented music education system called the School of Rock Method, including simplified rock instruments and hand percussion to teach rhythm patterns and music syntax.
