Youth Summer Programs includes more than 300 fun-filled summer camps that feature activities such as Abrakadoodle, Black Rocket, computer skills and programming, engineering skills, STEAM, Yang Academy of Math and Science, study and testing skills for school success, and circus camp. The program is part of Montgomery College’s offerings, which also include fully online degrees and hundreds of online courses.

Montgomery College was established on this site in 1950 (Takoma Park/Silver Spring Campus) and is nationally recognized for top-tier graduation rates and return on investment. The Youth Summer Programs leadership team includes Jack Hegarty, Program Assistant; Sharon Wolfgang, Program Coordinator; and Maria Jose (Majo) Murguia, Acting Program Manager II. Limited scholarships are available through a scholarship opportunity for students who qualify for Free or Reduced Lunches in MCPS schools, and 100% of donations to the WDCE Youth Enrichment Fund go directly to scholarships. Tuition at Montgomery College is nearly 50% less than tuition at a public four-year college.
