Marshy Point Nature Center Programs and Camps

Marshy Point Nature Center Programs and Camps include activities such as audiovisual presentations by natural resource professionals and noted naturalists. The programs also feature Monday Pre-K drop-ins, bird walks, canoeing, boat trips, night hikes, and family-friendly seasonal programs like the Spring Festival, Fall Festival, and Holiday Celebration.

• Ages: 3–18 years old
• Schedule: Nature Center open daily 9am–5pm (closed on holidays); Park open daily sunrise to sunset (open on holidays)
• Price: 2025 Fall Festival: Admission and parking are FREE; Costs vary by activity and are CASH ONLY; Registration is NOT required to attend. 2025 Spring Festival: Admission and parking are FREE; Costs vary by activity and are CASH ONLY; Registration is NOT required to attend. 2024 Fall Festival: Admission and parking are FREE; Costs vary by activity and are CASH ONLY; Registration is NOT required to attend.

Marshy Point Nature Center is a Chesapeake Gateways member. The Dundee Creek Osprey Cam, which started in March 2016, offers a 24-7 view from an osprey platform on Dundee Creek near Marshy Point using a solar-powered camera. The Dundee Creek Osprey Cam was awarded the Alliance of Natural Resource Outreach and Service Programs Volunteer Project of the Year for 2019.
