About
AlphaBEST Education offers licensed programs where students can spend time on homework, Art Zone projects, organized games, and cultural immersion with the Mandarin Chinese unit. The program includes activities in foreign languages, sports, LEGO robotics, and creative arts such as newspaper and playwriting. AlphaBEST Education operates before and after school programs, an after school Extended Day program, weeks-long Exploration workshops, Summer Camp, Early Learning Centers, and day camps, with each program tailored to meet the needs of each unique community.
At AlphaBEST, the power of wonder drives everything the organization does in its licensed programs. AlphaBEST Education describes its programs as more than a safe space to do homework, with fun-filled experiential learning in curiosity-filled, discovery-filled environments where creativity, play, and learning go hand in hand. The organization states that every program delivers enrichment, wonder, and connection, and that it is not just safe childcare or simply a place for homework to be completed. AlphaBEST Education is an equal opportunity employer and provider. AlphaBEST partners with multiple school districts and school systems, including Charles County Public Schools, Prince George’s County Public Schools, and Queen Anne’s County Public Schools in Maryland, as well as numerous districts in other states.
Parents and school leaders have shared feedback about AlphaBEST Education. One parent from Northwest ISD in Texas said, “We appreciate the structure that you have…they appear to be fun activities that are educational as well.” A parent from Prince William County, Virginia, said her daughter “has learned about different artists’ styles during Art Zone and loves the organized games and cultural immersion with the Mandarin Chinese unit.” Another parent from Cumberland, Rhode Island, said AlphaBEST “engages my children in various activities that they wouldn’t otherwise enjoy, specifically foreign languages, sports, LEGO robotics, and creative arts like newspaper and playwriting,” and that her children “often don’t want to leave” at pickup time. A facilitator of special projects from Frisco ISD in Texas described AlphaBEST as a program that “runs smoothly, independently, and provides our district’s children with purposeful and meaningful activities in a secure environment during the critical after school hours,” and stated that it can be recommended “to any school district without hesitation or qualification.” The superintendent of Cumberland School District in Rhode Island described AlphaBEST as “a unique before and after school program that combines a safe, supervised environment necessary to give working parents peace of mind” and noted that it “provides an expanded learning curriculum to assist in helping our schools meet their improvement goals.” A principal and AlphaBEST parent in Mississippi said, “As a principal and mother of two AlphaBEST parents, I would recommend it to anyone who asks.”
