AlphaBEST Education offers activities such as homework time, Art Zone, organized games, cultural immersion with the Mandarin Chinese unit, foreign languages, sports, LEGO robotics, and creative arts like newspaper and playwriting. The program is offered through AlphaBEST Early Learning Centers and includes fun-filled experiential learning in discovery-filled environments, with a curiosity-filled learning environment and licensed programs. AlphaBEST provides before and after school care, day camps, an after school Extended Day program, weeks-long Exploration workshops, an online program called AlphaAcademy, Summer Camp, and specialty enrichment camps and summer-long programs.

At AlphaBEST, the stated mission is: “At AlphaBEST we provide more than a safe space to do homework.” AlphaBEST provides before and after school care and programs in multiple school districts across states including Arizona, California, Colorado, Illinois, Kentucky, Maryland, Massachusetts, Mississippi, New Jersey, Oklahoma, Oregon, Rhode Island, South Carolina, Texas, Virginia, and West Virginia. Parents and school leaders have shared feedback about the program. One parent from Northwest ISD, TX said, “We appreciate the structure that you have…they appear to be fun activities that are educational as well.” A parent from Prince William County, VA noted that a child “has learned about different artists’ styles during Art Zone and loves the organized games and cultural immersion with the Mandarin Chinese unit.” Another parent from Forsyth County, NC said, “At AlphaBEST, they play and get to be active, but also learn. I love it! Thank you for creating an amazing program for kids. I know they are safe, cared for, learning, and they are having fun!” A parent from Cumberland, RI shared that AlphaBEST engages children in “foreign languages, sports, LEGO robotics, and creative arts like newspaper and playwriting” and that the children “often don’t want to leave” at pickup.

District and school leaders have also commented on the program. A facilitator of special projects from Frisco ISD, TX described AlphaBEST as a program that “runs smoothly, independently, and provides our district’s children with purposeful and meaningful activities in a secure environment during the critical after school hours” and stated, “I can recommend AlphaBEST to any school district without hesitation or qualification.” The Deputy Superintendent of Prince William County Schools, VA said, “What set AlphaBEST apart was the 21st-century approach to engage students using high-leverage interest areas. From the very beginning, AlphaBEST began to provide a strong developmentally appropriate hands-on curriculum.” The Superintendent of Cumberland School District, RI described AlphaBEST as “a unique before and after school program that combines a safe, supervised environment necessary to give working parents peace of mind” and noted that it “provides an expanded learning curriculum to assist in helping our schools meet their improvement goals.” A principal and AlphaBEST parent from Mississippi stated, “As a principal and mother of two AlphaBEST parents, I would recommend it to anyone who asks.”
