Montgomery Village Foundation Youth Recreation Programs offers activities such as Intro to Child Yoga, Winter Wonderland Glow-in-the-Dark Bingo, and Winter Wonderland Bingo. Intro to Child Yoga introduces young yogis to playful breathing techniques, silly and exciting poses, and the basics of yoga through songs, movement, and games. Winter Wonderland Glow-in-the-Dark Bingo is played under illuminating blacklights, and registration is required for this event, with walk-ins not accepted.

• Schedule: Intro to Child Yoga meets on Sundays from 10:15 to 11:15 a.m. from Jan. 25 to Feb. 22 for a total of 5 classes; Winter Wonderland Glow-in-the-Dark Bingo is scheduled for Friday, Jan. 23, with a snow date of Friday, Jan. 30, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.

Montgomery Village was conceptualized and built in the 1960s and 1970s. The mission of Montgomery Village Foundation states that it encourages all residents to stay connected by participating in community events and cultural initiatives, while promoting health and wellness through recreation activities. The mission also states that by valuing differences, the community fosters mutual respect, understanding, and collaboration so that Montgomery Village remains a thriving and inclusive environment for families and individuals who choose to call it home.
