Young Artists of America Summer Performing Arts Intensives

Young Artists of America Summer Performing Arts Intensives offers summer performing arts intensives in voice, acting, and dance with faculty from the region’s top performing arts teachers. Its offerings include overnight intensives for dancers, actors, and technicians and designers, daytime programs for actors, singers, and dancers, and overnight conservatories for actors, singers, and dancers.

Programs

• Summer Performing Arts Intensives (SPAI) — elementary school, middle school, high school, and rising college students; rising grades 3-12+ · Rigorous and inspirational environment for students interested in growing their musical theatre skills in voice, acting, and dance from the region's top performing arts faculty.
• Overnight Intensives for dancers — rising grades 6-12+ · Six days of intensive dance instruction, room & board, plus a Final Showcase.
• Overnight Intensives for actors — rising grades 9-12+ · Six days of intensive acting instruction, room & board, plus a Final Showcase.
• Overnight Intensives for technicians & designers — rising grades 9-12+ · Six days of robust technical theatre & design instruction, room & board, plus a Capstone Project.
• Daytime Programs for actors, singers, dancers — rising grades 9-12+ · Two weeks of classes plus a full stage production.
• Daytime Programs for actors, singers, dancers — rising grades 6-9 · Two weeks of classes plus a full stage production.
• Daytime Programs for actors, singers, dancers — rising grades 3-5 · Two weeks of classes & a final shareformance.
• Overnight Conservatories for actors, singers, dancers — rising grades 10-12+ · Two weeks of immersive musical theatre instruction, room & board, plus a full stage production.
• Overnight Conservatories for actors, singers, dancers — rising grades 7-9 · Two weeks of immersive musical theatre instruction, room & board, plus a full stage production.
