BT Camps includes activities such as swimming, arts and crafts, nature, sports, STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math) activities, ropes course, zip line, and outdoor play. Campers have access to ball fields, hiking trails, the Sachs Family Challenge Course with two 60-foot towers, a creative arts center, the Sachs Nature Center, a regulation-sized multi-purpose sports court, and an amphitheater for special events. Aquatics features include three pools at the main campsite with dual water slides, an instructional swim program, a boating lake with a 60-foot tall 90-foot-long slide, kayaks, corcls, water mats, an inflatable climbing structure, and an interactive splash pad water area, along with a separate facility that has three swimming pools, an aquatics center with a triple-decker double-barreled water slide, and a lake with boats and a 25-foot slide.

BT Camps offers a Traditional Day Camp experience, Travel Camp, Maccabi Sports Camp, and several Specialty Camps including Art Camp with glass fusion and copper enameling projects and a STEAM Camp for Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math. Nursery Camp and Kinder Camp serve younger campers, with Nursery Camp including lots of outdoor play and camp specialists, and KinderCamp as a half-day transitional program for potty-trained four-year-olds to attend the big camp. Travel Campers and their counselors take trips four out of five days per week to places such as amusement parks, water parks, laser tag venues, and indoor trampoline parks, and are at the camp site every Friday. BT Maccabi Sports Camp is for campers who love to play sports and meet professional athletes, and there is a Leadership Training (L.T.) Program for teens who are too old for camp but too young to be counselors.
BT Camps includes lively weekly Kabbalat Shabbats and other Jewish programming. Since 1943, Beth Tfiloh has provided a well-organized and fun-filled Jewish summer day camp in Baltimore County. The staff is powered by dedicated teachers, young adults, and very responsible high school students. The program’s stated mission is that BT Camps is a great place for kids to grow.
