Coach Dembroski's Basketball Camp gives campers time on the court participating in contests and games and working on improving their fundamentals. The program is for boys and girls of all skill levels, from beginners to experienced basketball players.
• Ages: 7–14 years old
• Schedule: Summer 2026 sessions running July 20–24, July 27–31, and August 3–7, with camp hours from 9:00 am to 3:30 pm and the gym open from 8:30 am to 4:00 pm
• Price: $290 per week; Register by Feb. 15 to receive a 10% discount
Coach Dembroski’s Basketball Camp is for boys and girls currently in grades 2–8 during the 2025–2026 school year. The camp’s stated goal is for all campers to have a positive experience participating in contests, games, and improving their fundamentals, with an emphasis on having fun while skills are developed. The mission also highlights a focus on building relationships and supporting kids as they grow into successful adults.
The camp is led by Coach Dembroski, the Boys Varsity Basketball Coach at Bethesda-Chevy Chase High School, and Mrs. Dembroski, an elementary school teacher in Montgomery County. Coach Dembroski previously spent nine years as the Boys Varsity Basketball Coach at Rockville High School and has taught elementary and high school PE in Montgomery County for fourteen years. He played varsity basketball at Magruder High School and college basketball at Salisbury University. He has 25 years of experience working youth basketball camps, has won state championships in Montgomery County as an assistant coach in 2012 and as a player in 2001, and is certified in First Aid and CPR.
