Camping & Recreation Program

The Camping & Recreation Program offers year-round traditional, weekend, and travel sessions for children and adults with physical, emotional, and cognitive disabilities. It also includes selected weekend dates in 2026, selected travel dates in 2026, and summer sessions in 2026.

• Traditional Summer Camp Programs — all ages · summer 2026 sessions · Held at Camp Greentop; offered at the 2:1 ratio and 1:1 ratio.

About the provider

The program was created in 1937. Camp Greentop is accredited by the American Camp Association and is licensed by the State of Maryland for Youth Camp Certification.

Autism Waiver recipients must submit a Plan of Care with allocated hours. Only register for a max of two respites per season. Dates subject to change pending NPS reservations. Travel trip spaces are reserved on a first come, first serve basis, and each participant will be reviewed to determine eligibility. There are limited wheelchair spaces available for each travel trip. ALL MEALS ARE INCLUDED IN THE TRAVEL TRIP RATE.
