About
SmartFit Kids Academy offers fitness activities, homework help, additional academic practice, martial arts including Taekwondo, and field trips. The program also includes a Sports Day program, Chess Club, language enrichment in Spanish and Chinese, an eLearning Program, STEM and Adventure based summer camps, and 1 on 1 tutoring services. Chess Club meets after the Taekwondo program, and Chess Club is open to both children enrolled and not enrolled at SmartFit Kids Academy.

SmartFit Kids Academy operates as a licensed child care center for children in grades K–8 and offers licensed martial arts programs. It offers a full day preschool program for children ages 3 to 5, a before school program with fitness activities before children are dropped off at school, and an after school program with convenient school pick-up and transportation to and from many area schools. The program is open when schools are closed for holidays and typically inclement weather, accommodates planned and unplanned early dismissals and late openings, and is open during Thanksgiving, Christmas, and spring break, with an easy transition from after school to summer camp.
Qualified teaching staff help with and ensure completion of homework, licensed martial arts programs are taught by expert instructors, STEM and Adventure based summer camps are run by certified school teachers, and language enrichment is led by qualified Spanish and Chinese teachers. The eLearning Program is available to Anne Arundel County Public School students local to Arnold, Severna Park, Pasadena, and Glen Burnie, with teachers supervising classwork and homework. SmartFit Kids Academy has been serving students and families since 2013 and states that it encourages and helps children build a strong academic foundation.
