About
SmartFit Kids Academy offers fitness activities, martial arts and Taekwondo, chess and Chess Club, Spanish and Chinese language enrichment, and academic enrichment programs including foreign language and STEAM. The program also includes homework help, additional academic practice, 1 on 1 tutoring services, an eLearning Program, STEM and adventure-based summer camps, field trips, and a Sports Day program.

• Schedule: Open from 7:00am to 6:00pm; summer camp runs for 10 weeks
SmartFit Kids Academy is a licensed child care center for children in grades K–8 and offers a full day preschool program for children ages 3 to 5, a before and after care program for school-age children, and summer camps. The program’s before school option includes fitness activities before children are dropped off at school, and the after school program offers convenient school pick-up, transportation to and from many area schools, and an easy transition from after school to summer camp. SmartFit Kids Academy is open when schools are closed for holidays and typically inclement weather, accommodates planned and unplanned early dismissals and late openings, and is open during Thanksgiving, Christmas, and spring break.
Qualified teaching staff help with and ensure completion of homework, licensed martial arts programs are taught by expert instructors, and certified school teachers run the STEM and adventure-based summer camps. Language enrichment is led by qualified Spanish and Chinese teachers, and the eLearning Program is available to Anne Arundel County Public School students local to Arnold, Severna Park, Pasadena, and Glen Burnie, with teachers supervising classwork and homework. Chess Club meets after the Taekwondo program and is open to all children, both enrolled and not enrolled at SmartFit Kids Academy. SmartFit Kids Academy has been serving students and families since 2013 and serves schools and mail areas including Arnold, Annapolis, Glen Burnie, Pasadena, Severna Park, Crofton, Gambrills, Davidsonville, Millersville, Odenton, Bowie, Edgewater, and Cape St. Claire.
