About
SmartFit Kids Academy offers fitness activities, martial arts including Taekwondo, chess and Chess Club, and foreign language instruction in Spanish and Chinese. The program includes homework help, additional academic practice, an eLearning Program, and 1 on 1 Tutoring services. It also runs STEM and adventure-based summer camps, field trips, a Sports Day program, and STEAM programs, along with a full day preschool program for children ages 3 to 5, a before school program with fitness activities, and an after school program with convenient school pick-up.

SmartFit Kids Academy is a licensed child care center for children in grades K–8. Qualified teaching staff help with and ensure completion of homework, licensed martial arts programs are taught by expert instructors, and certified school teachers run the STEM and adventure-based summer camps. The program has been serving students and families since 2013 and states that its mission is to encourage and help children build a strong academic foundation. Transportation is provided to and from many schools in the area, and the program is open when schools are closed for holidays and typically inclement weather, including Thanksgiving, Christmas, and spring break, and it accommodates planned and unplanned early dismissals and late openings of schools. There is an easy transition from the after school program to summer camp, the eLearning Program is available to Anne Arundel County Public School students local to Arnold, Severna Park, Pasadena, and Glen Burnie, and the Chess Club is open to all children, both enrolled and not enrolled at SmartFit. SmartFit Kids serves schools and mail areas including Arnold, Severna Park, Cape St Claire, Pasadena, Annapolis, Glen Burnie, Crofton, Gambrills, Davidsonville, Millersville, Odenton, Bowie, Edgewater, and Cape St. Claire.
