About
Grace United Learning Center offers preschool and full-day programs, a before and after school program, and a Summer Camp. The program includes field trips planned throughout the year, and parents are encouraged to join these trips. Students are served breakfast, a morning snack, a hot lunch, and an afternoon snack, with a daily hot lunch prepared on-site that follows USDA nutrition requirements.

Grace United Learning Center is a non-profit, non-faith based facility that offers childcare and preschool programs. The center is licensed to serve up to 67 students at any one time and accepts participants in the Child Care Subsidy Program. Bus transportation is available for Taneytown Elementary School and Mother Seton School students. The program uses the Frog Street Curriculum to prepare children for kindergarten. Teachers at the center are credentialed, and the leadership team includes Director Crystal Baker and Treasurer Beth Hogg.
Grace United Learning Center has been accredited by the Maryland State Department of Education since 2012 and participates in the Maryland EXCELS program. The mission of the center states that it is designed to provide nurturing, high quality, safe and affordable childcare and preschool programs without regard for race, color, religion, national origin, sex, sexual orientation, income or disability, and that staff work to support the physical, emotional, educational and developmental growth of the children in their care. The Learning Center Support Committee welcomes input, participation, and support from Grace Church members interested in furthering the ministry of the Learning Center, and the center has provided an opportunity for community youth to complete community service hours required for high school graduation.
