He has also studied Krav Maga, Systema, and other self-defense oriented martial arts, became a wilderness guide in 1998, and has led canoe and hiking trips for every age group throughout Maine in all four seasons. One testimonial describes the facility as wonderful and notes that a company’s private self-defense seminar included fast communication and a positive experience. Another parent reports that their children enjoyed their time at Centerpoint, describing Andy’s guidance and friendship and noting clear communication about their children’s growth. Additional testimonials mention a 6th birthday party with an informal class and pizza, a culture built on accountability, trust, and discipline, and a child who became a confident, hardworking Karate student through a blend of challenge, fun, individual work, and team activities.
