Clay Work Studio Camps and Classes

Clay Work Studio Camps and Classes offers a one-week Summer Camp for children ages 8-18, where campers work on a variety of projects and take them home 2-4 weeks after the session. It also offers a Youth Class for ages 8-17 of all skill levels, with monthly tuition of $150, and the class introduces basic building techniques through projects such as whistles, functional cups and plates, and larger scale vases. The studio also offers adult wheel throwing, figurative sculpture, hand building, pottery surfaces, and one-time Sunday classes from 3:00pm to 4:45pm.

Programs

• Summer Camp — children ages 8-18 · A one-week program. Campers will work on a variety of projects throughout the week that they can take home 2-4 weeks after the session.
• Youth Class — youth ages 8-17 of all skill levels · $150 per month · A monthly-tuition based class. Introduces basic building techniques with playful projects, such as whistles, functional cups and plates, and larger scale vases.
• Wheel Throwing (Adult) — Adult · A six-week wheel throwing course for all skill levels.
• Figurative Sculpture (Adult) — Adult · An adult course in representation in the life-size clay form.
• Hand Building (Adult) — Adult · An adult course in hand building methods.
• One-Time Class (Adult) — Adult · Sundays, 3:00pm to 4:45pm · $49 · One-time wheel-throwing or hand-building sessions for adults only.
• Pottery Surfaces (Adult) — Adult · A six-week course for intermediate students who wish to embellish and decorate their forms.
• Advanced Studio (12 weeks) — $700

About the provider

One-time classes are group classes, not one-on-one private classes. Scheduled class is subject to cancellation if the group is smaller than 8 students or under-enrolled. Classes scheduled and paid online are not refundable. Students may reschedule with a fee of $15 per person and can only reschedule once. Email the studio to schedule before purchasing. No long nails please. Pick up is 2 weeks from the date of class; unclaimed objects will be discarded 4 weeks from the date of class.
