Soccer Shots Twin Cities is a children’s soccer program that offers Mini (Toddler) Soccer, Classic (Preschool) Soccer, and Premier (School Age) Soccer. Sessions take place on Soccer Island, which is described as a safe environment for the program.
• Ages: 18 months–8 years old
Soccer Shots Twin Cities uses a curriculum created under the guidance of childhood education specialists, professional soccer players, and experienced and licensed soccer coaches. Soccer Shots coaches complete a comprehensive training program to receive certification, are trained in the use of developmentally appropriate techniques, are routinely evaluated, and undergo ongoing training. The program focuses on character development, skills, and confidence through its three core programs: Mini (Toddler), Classic (Preschool), and Premier (School Age). The mission of Soccer Shots, described as the premier Children’s Soccer Experience, is to positively impact children’s lives. Soccer Shots programs are nationally advertised as serving ages 18 months–8 years old, and each Soccer Shots franchise is individually owned and operated.
Soccer Shots Twin Cities has a leadership team that includes Dan and Anna Larson (Owners), Cassie Theunissen (Integrator), Sean Stevens (Director of Development), Heder Olanda (Sales and Marketing Coordinator), Jake Schiltz (Sales and Recruiting Coordinator), Jenna Kolke (Director of Operations), and Valentina Rodriguez (Program Coordinator). Soccer Shots was formed in 1997, began franchising in 2005, and Justin Bredeman became the third Soccer Shots partner in May of 2009. There were over 560,000 enrollments in Soccer Shots programming in 2023. Soccer Shots Twin Cities made the Startribune 2026 TopWorkplace list, and Soccer Shots is consistently recognized by Entrepreneur Magazine as the #1 Children’s Fitness Franchise in the U.S.
Soccer Shots partners with local childcare centers, preschools, elementary schools, and other organizations to bring soccer to more children across North America. Through partnerships with the U.S. Soccer Foundation, Nike, and other organizations, Soccer Shots aims to impact children and communities across the U.S. and the world. Parents from locations including Kalamazoo (MI), Phoenix (AZ), Dallas (Texas), and San Diego (CA) have shared testimonials describing their children’s growth, the coaches, and the organization of the program.
