Heartland Volleyball Events offers volleyball tournaments, volleyball playdates, and the Heartland “Heart” Tourney, along with special events such as the Brown Legacy Cup and the 7th Annual HornetFest. The program also includes a NEW 2026 Heartland Events 10/11's Development League and a 17/18 (2 Day) event as part of its volleyball schedule.
• Ages: 10–18 years old
• Schedule: Multiple dated events in 2026, including single-day and two-day tournaments and league dates, with specific divisions and dates such as two league dates on Saturday, January 17, 2026 and Saturday, January 31, 2026, a tournament date on Saturday, February 14, 2026, and two-day events on Saturday and Sunday March 21 and 22, 2026 for the 17/18 division and Saturday and Sunday January 31 and February 1, 2026 for the 13/14 and 15/16 divisions.
• Price: Admission Fee: Online at VANCO $4.00 for adults and $3.00 for students (K–College) and seniors (60 and older); day-of-event cash admission is $5.00 for everyone 5 years and older.
Heartland Volleyball Events is entering the 2026 JO volleyball season and is presenting its 34th annual Heartland Tournament as part of its 34th year of providing events. Heartland Volleyball Events has been part of the Minnesota JO Volleyball scene for the last 30 years, and Heartland Events are JVA sanctioned. Teams of any affiliation may participate in the events, including JVA, AAU, USAV, or independently insured teams, and all registrations and payments are completed online through AES.
The leadership team includes Wally Brown, who serves as Heartland Volleyball Events Executive Director and Heartland Events Director. Staff experience includes over 30 years of planning, directing, and coaching different sport clubs and tournaments of all ages in Minnesota, as well as roles such as former North Country Region Member of the Board of Directors, former Director and current Event Executive Director of Heartland Volleyball, former President and Board Member of North Country Region USVA, and former President and Board Member of the Minnesota Girl's Volleyball Coaches Association.
