Cloquet Youth Sports Associations offers a range of activities including Cloquet Youth Baseball - Softball, Cross Country Kid Ski, ski jumping, Cloquet Area Volleyball, Cloquet Area Hockey, Cloquet Youth Basketball, Cloquet Youth Football, CEC Boys Lacrosse, Valkyrie Girls Lacrosse, Cloquet Area Youth Wrestling, Cloquet Area Youth Soccer, and the CEC and HPC Mountain Bike Team. The program also includes Friday Family Swim, which takes place in a lifeguard-supervised pool and follows specific check-in and supervision rules.
• Ages: 3–13 years old
• Schedule: Cloquet Area Hockey registrations take place in mid-June; Cloquet Youth Football serves grades 3–6 with registration starting May 1 and the season starting in August; CEC and HPC Mountain Bike Team registration opens on April 1st.
• Price: $5 person/night for Friday Family Swim.
For Friday Family Swim, participants must check in with the lifeguards before entering the locker rooms, and pre-registration is required with no drop-in at the door accepted and registration closing at 4 pm on Fridays. The Cloquet Middle School Pool is lifeguard supervised for Friday Family Swim, no children under age 14 are admitted unless accompanied by an adult, and if the supervising adult is not swimming, no fee is required for that adult. Children under age 6 must be accompanied by an adult while in the water, the diving board is open if there is a third lifeguard on duty, and there is a safety break at 7:15 pm or when necessary. The CEC and HPC Mountain Bike Team is associated with www.missionnorthcycling.org/mca-teams, and Pinehurst Park has filtered, chlorinated water and a sand-bottom. The CEC and HPC Mountain Bike Team head coach is Josh Hendrickson, and the assistant coach is Joe Pulford.
