The Bunker Hills Junior Golf Program focuses on all aspects of the game and is designed to be fun, with a challenging and supportive environment so that the beginner and/or experienced player will enjoy and learn the game of golf. The program highlights the relationship between golf and personal development, with stated goals that include teaching lessons in discipline, honesty, and sportsmanship, as well as honoring the rules of the game and tradition. Junior members must be enrolled in school full-time and must not have reached their 18th birthday before November 1st of the current year, with course availability on the Championship Course Monday–Friday anytime and Saturday–Sunday after 10:00 A.M., and on the Executive Course anytime any day. The Dewbusters League takes place on the Executive Course, includes on-course instruction from the Bunker Hills Pro Staff, and missed Dewbusters weeks are compensated with rain check vouchers that never expire. The Family Saturday Summer Kickoff includes food after golf, and the Introduction To Golf Program covers the basics of golf and is conducted by the Bunker Hills Professional Staff in small group sessions with no more than eight golfers, allowing for a 4:1 student/teacher ratio. The Small Group Instruction Program is aimed toward advanced and intermediate junior golfers with golfing experience, and the On-Course Instruction Program is hosted by a member of the Bunker Hills Professional Staff with a goal of improving course management philosophies and skills. For the 2024 Dewbusters League, golf clubs for each junior are required and on-course experience is preferred.
