The Bunker Hills Junior Golf Program includes golf instruction on the range, short game and long game practice, etiquette, on-course instruction, simulator golf, and a nine-hole shotgun event. Juniors can take part in the Dewbusters League on the Executive Course and a nine-hole playing experience on the Championship Course through the On-Course Instruction Program. The program also offers a Family Saturday Summer Kickoff event with a nine-hole shotgun and range instruction.

• Schedule: Junior Membership course availability includes weekday and weekend access to the Championship and Executive Courses; program options include 60-minute small group instruction sessions and an on-course instruction experience of about three hours.

The Bunker Hills Junior Golf Program includes a Junior Membership for juniors enrolled in school full-time who have not reached their 18th birthday before November 1st of the current year. The 2024 Dewbusters League schedule includes a kickoff event on 6/18 with a clinic from 7:30 A.M. to 8:00 A.M. and an 8:30 A.M. shotgun, followed by league dates on 6/25, 7/2 (optional), 7/9, 7/16, 7/23, and 7/30 with tee times from 7:30 A.M. to 9:00 A.M., and missed weeks are compensated with rain check vouchers that never expire. The Family Saturday Summer Kickoff on June 8th features instruction on the range starting at 4:00 P.M., a nine-hole shotgun event at 5:00 P.M., and food after golf. The Introduction To Golf Program runs on Fridays (June 14th, June 21st, June 28th, July 12th, and July 19th) with sessions from 8:30 A.M. to 10:00 A.M. or 10:30 A.M. to 12:00 P.M. and covers the basics of golf with emphasis on short game, long game, and etiquette. Small Group Instruction is limited to no more than eight golfers with a 4:1 student/teacher ratio, and the On-Course Instruction Program is a nine-hole playing experience on the Championship Course followed by a short instruction session. For the 2024 Dewbusters League, each junior is required to have golf clubs and on-course experience is preferred.

The program’s mission states that it focuses on all aspects of the game and is designed to be fun, with a challenging and supportive environment so that the beginner and/or experienced player will enjoy and learn the game of golf. The mission also states that it strives to highlight the relationship between golf and personal development, and that golf offers the opportunity to teach lessons in discipline, honesty, and sportsmanship, as well as learning about honoring the rules of the game and tradition. The leadership team includes Tim Anderson, PGA – Director Of Golf Operations; Brad Hable, GCSAA – Golf Course Superintendent; Tim Brovold, PGA – 1st Assistant Golf Professional/Merchandiser; Dan Sainio – Assistant Golf Professional/Golf Operations Supervisor; and Tessa Stener – Assistant Golf Professional/Tournament Coordinator. Staff credentials include Tim Anderson, PGA; Brad Hable, GCSAA; and Tim Brovold, PGA. Bunker Hills has been recognized as one of the top 25 public courses in the country by Golf Digest. The golf club also has a state-of-the-art golf simulator center using four aboutGolf PGA Tour simulators with 78 golf courses to choose from.
