Cottage Grove United Recreational Soccer offers recreational soccer and a rec soccer league under the program name Cottage Grove United Recreational Soccer. The program also includes competitive soccer tryouts for players who are not in the recreational program. A Kingston field map is provided for rec teams.
• Ages: 4–10 years old
• Price: U4-U10 - ($125 flat fee - Per Session + $15 CGAA Fee - per player). Price includes a full uniform kit.
Rec begins at U4 and goes through age U9/10, and rec soccer ends at age 10. CGU manages 3 rec sessions per year in spring, summer, and fall, and each child will have the opportunity to play in all 3 sessions. CGAA fees are charged per registration, not per season, and the system will automatically place each child in the correct age group. Players who play in the competitive program cannot play in rec, and CGU offers scholarships for traveling levels, not rec soccer. If a parent volunteers to coach their child's team, they receive a 50% reduction in that child's session fees, and head coaches can request one player in addition to their own child to be placed on their team, with no other friend requests accommodated.
