Bunce Performing Arts

Bunce Performing Arts offers Elementary Summer Camp, Middle School Summer Camp, and The BEAT. The Elementary Summer Camp is a summer theater camp for students ages 6–11 or those entering grades 1–5, and it is held the week after the District 279 school year ends. The Middle School Summer Camp is for students entering grades 6 through 9, and The BEAT is an after-school theater experience with year-round programs for elementary and middle school students.

About the provider

Bunce Performing Arts has engaged the northwest suburban Twin Cities area since 2007. Bunce Summer Camp launched in 2015, The BEAT began in 2019, and the program was rebranded as Bunce Performing Arts in 2020. Its mission is to tell stories of hope and encouragement and to offer theatrical opportunities through affordable, high-quality theatre productions.

Registration for the elementary camp begins March 1 and is limited to 50 campers. Middle School Summer Camp registration is limited to 50 students and all students must be pre-registered before the first rehearsal. Participation in prayer during elementary camp is completely voluntary and campers are not required to take part.
