Twin Cities Soccer Academy offers summer camps that focus on training and guidance to develop soccer skills while playing the beautiful game. The program includes youth soccer coaching led by coaches with experience in coaching at Top Soccer, Central Soccer camps, and Tonka United Soccer Association, as well as refereeing competitive youth soccer matches.
Founded in 2019, Twin Cities Soccer Academy is guided by the mission, “We are guided by the goals of which are most important to us ... our children. Small Camp. Big Impact. We maintain a low coach-to-player ratio to ensure your child never gets lost in the crowd. Every player gets the individual attention they need to master the beautiful game.” The program highlights a low coach-to-player ratio, individual attention for every player, a positive and supportive environment where kids can have fun and learn at the same time, and a youth intern coach role. The leadership team includes Founder and Director of Operations Jennifer Diouf; Coach and Director of Program Development Swen; and youth coaches Reenie, Avery, Michael, Aiken, and Daouda.
Reenie graduated from Carleton College and has been playing on the women’s varsity soccer team there; she has been playing soccer for 18 years, is a teacher at an elementary school, has coached at Top Soccer and Central Soccer camps, and was captain on her high school soccer team. Avery is currently attending and playing for the women’s soccer team at Augsburg University, is a certified referee for competitive youth soccer matches, and has coached for Tonka United Soccer Association. Aiken has referee experience, serves as a mentor and role model, encourages sportsmanship and teamwork while developing leadership as a team captain, and has bilingual proficiency, and his commitment to community service is mentioned. The program notes that there are no 2026 summer camps.
