Pharm Camp focuses on hands-on learning about medicine and pharmacy, Sport Camp focuses on a variety of sports in a non-competitive environment, Hiking Week and Biking Camp focus on firsthand experience, training, knowledge, skills, and practice in trail navigation, wilderness trekking, road biking, and trail riding, and Discover Nature Camp uses nature as the classroom. Cosmic Adventures Camp is guided by astronomy experts and enthusiasts, and “Get Creative” is led by faculty from UMD’s Department of Art & Design, with campers spending at least one morning on iPads and also working with traditional materials in studio areas.

All campers registered for Hiking Week must be able to hike for 20 minutes without stopping and show an understanding of trail safety and etiquette, and all campers registered for Biking Camp must be able to ride for 10 minutes without stopping and show the bike safety skills taught in the first two days before joining longer rides.
