Seeds of Hope Youth Ranch

Seeds of Hope Youth Ranch offers a horse program where children spend time working with horses, including riding a horse, touching and brushing the horses, and taking part in a youth riding program with lessons. The program does not offer trail riding.

Seeds of Hope Youth Ranch is a non-profit Christian Youth Ranch led by Wendy Krook. It began in the winter of 2004 as a place to care for abused and neglected horses and became an official non-profit organization in the fall of 2006. Seeds of Hope Youth Ranch is currently in its 10th year of running as a non-profit ranch. The mission of Seeds of Hope Youth Ranch is to be a place of hope, encouragement and love where the lives of horses and children are changed, bringing together abused horses in need of healing and children who have a love of horses and are also in need of healing. The ranch offers its horse program to children that would never normally have the chance to ride a horse, with adult volunteers working side by side with the horses and children. The goal of the ranch is to reach out to the youth in the community and surrounding areas near Duluth, MN.
