Future Huskies Academy is a locally led camp featuring coaches described as the best in Southern Minnesota, with a focus on the technical growth of players through the guidance of Owatonna Soccer Association staff and coaching support of experienced local talent. Players do not need to play for Owatonna Soccer Association to register for the Future Huskies Academy camp, but each player must have a PlayMetrics profile and complete registration through the PlayMetrics app. Volunteers who help coach or lead at the camp must be 15 years or older, and donations for the camp may include canopies, water bottles, sports drink mixes, or other items considered beneficial at a youth sports camp. Proceeds from the Future Huskies Academy benefit current and future Huskies players through donations to the High School Soccer Booster Clubs for both boys and girls and through the continued growth of the Owatonna Soccer Association. Owatonna Soccer Association plans to partner with Capelli Sport in 2027 to update uniforms, with parents ordering the approved club kit directly from Capelli and having it shipped to their home, with options to order additional pieces or modifications such as long sleeves.
