Cornerstone on the Vermillion

Cornerstone on the Vermillion offers horseback riding lessons, equestrian training, and horsemanship activities, including Western and English riding, show jumping, reining, roping, and cowhorse/roping for beginners. The program includes private, semi-private, and group riding lessons, youth horse camp sessions, a youth equestrian club, youth-focused horse activities such as ground work with horses and round pen training, and family horse activities. Cornerstone on the Vermillion also offers horse boarding, horse training, colt starting, ground manners training, advanced riding maneuvers, performance horsemanship lessons and mentoring sessions, team building with horses, and the Woman Strong Cowgirl Series.

• Ages: 4–18 years old
• Schedule: Youth Horse Camp runs as 4-day camps from 9:00 AM–4:00 PM on multiple June, July, and August 2026 dates; Youth Equestrian Club meets in 4-week sessions from 6:30–7:45 PM; Group Riding Lessons run in 4-week sessions from 6:30–7:30 PM; Cowhorse/Roping for Beginners meets on Mondays from 9:00 AM–4:00 PM; Horse Training – No Experience Required! runs over 6 weeks; Horse Building Strong Families is a 2-hour event; the Woman Strong Cowgirl Series is offered in 3-hour sessions.
• Price: Youth Horse Camp is $500 per 4-day camp; Youth Equestrian Club is $270 per 4-week session; Group Riding Lessons are $180 per 4-week session; Horse Training – No Experience Required! is $180; Horse Building Strong Families costs $100 for a family of 2 plus $35 for each additional person, with a maximum of $200; the Woman Strong Cowgirl Series is $75 per 3-hour session.

The experienced coaching team at Cornerstone on the Vermillion includes Grand Prix and World Show expertise in a variety of Western and English disciplines. Leadership includes Michelle Michaud, who is described as a business professional and accomplished horsewoman who will create a team building program.
