About
CastleCo Theatre produces shows that connect every age and stage of life. The program creates family friendly theatre experiences with a focus on community driven values and is dedicated to theatre that builds confidence, compassion, concentration skills, commitment, and cooperation. As a community children's theater, CastleCo Theatre offers quality theater experiences for kids and adults, including community theater for high school students and adults.
• Ages: 5–18 years old
CastleCo Theatre has been serving the Dakota County community for 30+ years and was formerly known as Children's Castle Theater from its founding in 1993 through the summer of 2020. It acts as a community theater for residents of Farmington, Lakeville, Rosemount, Eagan, Apple Valley, Burnsville, Shakopee and the surrounding cities, and performs in partnership with the Lakeville Area Arts Center and Lakeville Area Community Education. CastleCo Theatre is the longest running youth theater organization to serve Farmington and Lakeville, Minnesota. One youth performer, Chase W, describes it this way: “They're a really small theater, but they make a big difference in kids' lives.”
