Chisago Lakes Area Recreation Association offers sports programs that include Travel Basketball, Tackle Football, Flag Football, CL 14u/Club Fastpitch Tryouts, Fall Softball, and a LEARN to PLAY FASTPITCH CLINIC. It is a volunteer-based, nonprofit organization, and more than 2,000 area youth participate in its sports programs every year.
The mission of the Chisago Lakes Area Recreation Association is to provide the opportunity for area school-age children to experience affordable, supervised sports activities. All proceeds go directly to sports programs for kids, with expenses covering equipment, umpires, referees, field maintenance, new field construction, and insurance. The Chisago Lakes School District provides cooperation and encouragement to participate, although the association is not formally affiliated with the district.
