Tippi Toes Twin Cities West

Tippi Toes Twin Cities West offers dance classes that include Toddler & Me, Baby Ballet, Ballet, Tap & Jazz, Hip Hop/Jazz, and Tippi Pro dance classes. The program also offers recitals, camps, birthday parties, and other events such as Adventures with Daddy and Tea Party with Mommy.

Tippi Toes Twin Cities West offers dance classes for girls and boys age 18 months–12 years and keeps enrollment open throughout the year. Classes are non-competitive, and students are encouraged and celebrated while being taught the fundamentals of dance using a curriculum that teaches dance in a positive and fun way. Dance on Demand virtual classes are available to reinforce what students learn in class, and proprietary iTunes-ranked original music and imaginative teaching methods are used in classes.

Recitals take place every semester, so students take the stage twice per year in a Tippi Toes 30-minute recital format. Recitals are family-friendly, with a focus on increasing the time students are on stage and shortening the overall recital time, and staff entertain and lead the children backstage and on stage during recitals.

Camps include dance, games, crafts, and a variety of themes, and campers do not have to be current Tippi Toes students. Birthday parties feature high-energy, kid-friendly expertise, and special events such as Adventures with Daddy and Tea Party with Mommy use new themes to keep events special and one-of-a-kind while strengthening bonds for kids with their loved ones.

Tippi Toes instructors receive background checks, detailed curriculum, and ongoing training. The leadership team at Tippi Toes Twin Cities West includes Owner and Director Jessi Rustad, Instructor and Admin Manager McKay Gray, Instructor Morgan Morrissey, and Instructor and Admin Assistant Jeana Snively. Tippi Toes Twin Cities West has been part of the Tippi Toes network for nearly a decade and is part of Tippi Toes, an international franchise that delivers award-winning dance education with exclusive songs, choreography, and characters.

Tippi Toes Twin Cities West states that its mission is to instill confidence, positivity, and joy into the lives of children through Tippi Toes dance classes. The program notes that it loves to serve communities and families in meaningful and fun ways.

Autopay is required for all monthly tuition payments, and sibling discounts are available for tuition and registration fees. There is a non-refundable annual registration fee for every dancer who enrolls, and cancellations must be made by the 25th of the month to avoid the next month’s tuition charge on the 1st. Verbal notification or lack of attendance does not count as sufficient notice to drop. Classes may be canceled if inclement weather is present in the local area, and each location makes its own weather decisions and notifies customers promptly.

Dancers are encouraged to wear dance attire or a Tippi Toes t-shirt with leggings and ballet slippers. Hip Hop/Jazz dancers may wear non-restrictive clothing and sneakers or black slip-on jazz shoes, and there is no required dress code for students. Tippi Toes instructors do not change students’ clothing, so if a parent needs a child to change, that must be arranged with the school teacher.
