Soccer Fun-Da-Mentals offers soccer-themed games, small group training, and mobility and agility training in a structured class setting. Each weekly class is part of an 8 week session and includes fitness goals, nutritional education, and mental development activities. Classes take place in a state-of-the-art indoor facility that includes two spacious climate-controlled training fields, a comfortable sitting lounge called The Park Lounge, and a full-service Fuel Bar called The Corner Kick serving smoothies and café beverages.

• Schedule: Each weekly class is 45 minutes long and part of an 8 week session
• Price: Single Session: Ages 2–7 $285 per 8 week session (2 monthly payments of $143); Ages 8-up $320 per 8 week session (2 monthly payments of $160). Champions Package (3 eight-week series): Ages 2–7 $770 / $129 per month (6 monthly payments of $129); Ages 8-up $864 / $144 per month (6 monthly payments of $144). All-Star Package (5 eight-week sessions): Ages 2–7 $1211 / $122 per month (10 monthly payments of $122); Ages 8-up $1360 / $136 per month (10 monthly payments of $136). Single Class: $45 one time cost.
Soccer Fun-Da-Mentals was founded by former professional soccer player Oluseyi (Seyi) Famodu and former University of Minnesota Division 1 soccer alum Omonike (Nike) Thomason. The leadership team includes Oluseyi Famodu, Director and former professional soccer player, husband, and father of two, and Omonike Thomason, Head Trainer, former University of Minnesota Division 1 soccer alum, wife, and mother of three. Staff are described as highly trained professionals who are parents themselves, and cleaning contractors are professionally certified. The program’s mission is to make sure each and every child leaves class with a smile on their face.
Soccer Fun-Da-Mentals arrived in the Minneapolis/St. Paul area in early 2021 and has a flagship training facility in the Twin Cities South Metro that serves the communities of Belle Plain, Jordan, Chaska, Chanhassen, Eden Prairie, Shakopee, Savage, Bloomington, Burnsville, and Prior Lake. The program offers five 8-week sessions throughout the year, with special packages that include discounts for enrolling in 3 or more sessions in a calendar year, and a year-round training program with the All-Star Package. Financial assistance may be available for those in need, and there is also a single class drop-in option.
Parents or authorized guardians are required on the field for children 3 and under. The program follows COVID-19 best practices including following CDC updated guidelines and frequent sanitizing, with reduced contact, hand sanitizer available, special air filtration, and generous indoor space for social distancing. Voucher use of the Fuel Bar includes smoothies, juice, or coffee. Merchandise such as hats, shirts, jerseys, coffee cups, water bottles, and soccer balls is available, and certain packages include Fuel Bar vouchers, discounts on custom Soccer Fun-Da-Mentals swag and birthday party packages, an FDM logo soccer ball, and a personalized FDM jersey with name and number included with the All-Star Package.
