Excel High School Online Programs offers flexible, 100% online programs for middle school, high school, and adult learners. The programs include accredited online education for grades 6–12, with middle school courses for grades 6–8 and standard, honors, and Advanced Placement (AP) high school courses. Students can also access summer school and credit recovery courses, an Adult Diploma Program with self-paced or competency-based paths, an online GED® Test Prep Course, and student enrichment programs such as Success Coach Pro and ElevatED.

Excel High School Online Programs uses a self-paced learning model with low monthly tuition options and allows students to enroll anytime and start right away. The programs include NCAA-approved core high school courses and dual enrollment opportunities with university partners. Excel High School provides an online learning platform called Learn Stage, which includes a Help Desk for support, and offers an AI-powered learning assistant called BRYTE. International students are accepted, and some students may access tuition-free enrollment through state voucher programs, depending on the state. All that is needed to participate is internet access.
Excel High School issues the same accredited high school diploma as public schools and is part of Excel Education Systems, which also includes Northgate Academy and Washington Technical Institute. The school is regionally accredited by Cognia and accredited by the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools CESS, is an “A+” Rated, Accredited Member of the Better Business Bureau, and has earned the School of Distinction award from Cognia for a seven-year accreditation cycle. Excel High School was founded in 2004, became an independent school district in 2016, and acquired Washington Technical Institute in 2019.
