Trollwood Performing Arts School Youth Arts Programs offers a wide array of arts-centered classes and performing opportunities through 12 annual arts education, youth leadership, and performance programs. Trollwood’s youth arts programs are part of Trollwood Performing Arts School, which is a program of Fargo Public Schools and serves as the managing arm for Bluestem Center for the Arts. Trollwood’s production of Disney’s Frozen is part of these offerings, with opportunities for students to participate in the cast, orchestra, or technical crew.

Trollwood Performing Arts School’s youth programs are committed to providing high quality performing arts education. Trollwood is described as a unique arts organization that is committed to providing high quality arts education, exceptional community entertainment, and serving as a community events and exposition center. Trollwood’s youth arts programs are supported by a leadership team that includes Kathy Anderson (Executive Director), Nancy Glaser (Program and Volunteer Coordinator), Andy Segal (Technical Theater Coordinator), Tyler Brown (Graphic & Web Designer), and Adam Watts (Communications Specialist). Broadway performer Becky Gulsvig, whose credits include Hairspray, Legally Blonde, School of Rock, Come From Away, and A Beautiful Noise, is associated with Trollwood through the provided staff credentials.
Trollwood’s production of Disney’s Frozen is proudly sponsored by Bell Bank, with performance dates set for July 20–25 and July 28–August 1 at Bluestem Center for the Arts. Discounted group ticket sales for the purchase of 10 or more tickets on a single performance night are open now, and regular ticket sales will open in spring of 2026. Cast auditions for Disney’s Frozen are scheduled for February 21–25, 2026, and orchestra auditions will be held February 20–March 8, with all auditions open to students currently in grades 8–12. Students may sign up for a cast audition slot by calling 218-477-6500 or emailing [email protected], may participate as a run crew member or technician by registering for summer programming, and can find more details about joining the cast, orchestra, or technical crew at www.trollwood.org/mainstage-musical/. Summer registration is open.
By partnering with numerous community organizations, Trollwood presents a wide variety of options for the entire region to enjoy, and Bluestem Center for the Arts hosts arts events, private events, and community festivals.
