Youth Sports Leagues offers co-ed summer soccer, slowpitch softball, tee-ball, baseball, and fall soccer. The program includes regular season games and scheduled make-up games for both summer and fall leagues, with specific dates for practices, games, and coach meetings.
• Schedule: Summer softball practices begin the week of April 27, with games from the week of May 11 through the week of July 20 and make-up games the week of July 27. Summer soccer and baseball practices begin the week of May 25, with games from the week of June 9 through the week of July 27 and make-up games the week of August 3. Fall league practices begin the week of August 24, with games on Saturdays from September 12 through October 17 and make-up games on Sunday afternoons, September 27 and October 11, with no team playing more than one game per day. Registration for summer leagues opens Monday, February 23 at 8:00 am, with early registration deadlines of March 20 for softball and April 10 for soccer/baseball, and late registration for all summer leagues closing Wednesday, April 22 at 4:00 pm, pending availability. Fall league registration opens Monday, June 1 at 8:00 am, with early registration closing Friday, July 17 at 11:59 pm and late registration closing Wednesday, July 29 at 4:00 pm, pending availability.

Children must register for the grade they will be enrolled in for the upcoming school year, and parents are instructed to contact Tillery Bailey if a child does not meet the age requirement for the appropriate grade level. Teams are formed and coaches are contacted after March 20 for softball, after April 22 for soccer and baseball, and after July 29 for the fall league. There is a mandatory meeting for soccer and baseball coaches on Monday, May 18, 2026, and a mandatory meeting for fall coaches on Monday, August 17. The weather hotline at 651-792-7841 is updated by 3:00 pm for summer game cancellations and by 8:00 am for fall game cancellations, and if there is no update, participants are instructed to arrive at the fields as scheduled. Soccer officials make the final call on weather at the field when needed, while baseball and tee-ball coaches agree on the final call at the field, and make-up games use the same location and opponent as the cancelled games. The New Brighton Parks and Recreation Department offers these leagues in partnership with Arden Hills, Fridley, Mounds View, Shoreview, and Spring Lake Park.
