Hoopology University Basketball Camps and Private Training

Hoopology University Basketball Camps and Private Training offers ELITE Shooting Camps, Competitive Ball Handling Camps, Attack The Rack Camps, and Scoring Camps in Jordan, Lakeville North, and Northfield, along with private and small group training. At these camps, athletes take part in drills such as shooting off the dribble and off the pass, step back shots, pick and pop, stationary and on-the-move ball handling, drills with defenders, and attacking the basket using moves like the Euro-step, spin move, and power-hop. The program also offers individual sessions and private training that began with private and small group training in its first summer.

• Ages: 8–16 years old
• Schedule: Summer camp options in June, July, and August with morning, midday, and early afternoon sessions; Jordan, Lakeville North, and Northfield Scoring Camps run in multi-day blocks with daily sessions of about two hours.
• Price: $125–$250 depending on camp and number of weeks, with a $100 discount for signing up for all three summer camps in Shakopee or Prior Lake

Hoopology University was founded in 2000 by Bryan Blascziek. It was started because basketball athletes in Shakopee were looking for a way to increase their skills on the court at a faster rate than traditional basketball camps, beginning with 20 athletes and private and small group training in its first summer. Many of the players trained as 6th and 7th graders went on to win the state basketball title for Shakopee High School in 2005, and since its inception Hoopology University has trained over 5,000 basketball players. Hoopology University was founded in 2000 and continues to offer instruction that focuses on details to help athletes achieve their goals.
