Sauk Rapids-Rice Youth Baseball Association offers youth baseball that includes T-ball, coach pitch, and participation in the Gopher State Baseball League as a traveling baseball league. Players take part in practices, league games, and various tournaments, and have access to batting cages. The association also runs an annual golf tournament and a fish fry and meat raffle as part of its activities.

The program includes Gopher State Baseball League teams that are part of Minnesota Youth Athletic Services (MYAS), with Gopher State Teams in District 1. SRYBA Gopher State Teams are formed after fall evaluations each year for 10U–14U players. Players must attend school within the ISD47 District or live within the district area. For GSBL players, a Dri-Fit undershirt is provided, and each player is required to purchase their own jersey and supply white baseball pants, a green belt, green socks, cleats, and their own helmet, with specific bat size and certification requirements based on age. The association states that organized baseball is an opportunity for children to learn teamwork, character, self-discipline, work ethic, and respect for others, and it describes its role as helping promote a cohesive community supported by volunteers, parents, and other supporters of baseball.
