SOAR Regional Arts Youth Programs are part of SOAR Regional Arts, a nonprofit organization whose stated purpose is experience. The programs are connected to a broader organization that offers participation on stage, behind the scenes, through volunteering, and in the audience. The organization reports that it works to represent itself in the communities it serves: St. Michael, Otsego, Albertville, and Rogers, including forming partnerships and collaborations with other arts programs and local businesses to support access to the arts. SOAR Regional Arts is funded in part by appropriations from the Minnesota State Legislature with money from the State’s general fund and its arts and cultural heritage fund that was created by a vote of the people of Minnesota on November 4, 2008.
