About
The Sanneh Foundation Youth Programs include sports, academic support, mentoring, community events, and food distributions. At Conway Community Center, the programs offer year-round sports, academic support, mentoring, and community events. Youth can also take part in in-school and after-school mentoring, paid internships, job readiness training, and soccer skills activities, along with free, healthy meals and distributions of fresh produce, pantry staples, and culturally relevant foods.
• Price: Sanneh’s Free Community Camps give kids of all backgrounds the chance to play, learn, and grow in a fun, supportive environment…at no cost to families.
The mission of The Sanneh Foundation is to empower youth, improve lives, and unite communities. The organization serves the holistic youth development needs of the increasingly diverse Twin Cities metro area and provides culturally responsive and equitable access to programs, opportunities, and environments. Sanneh’s Conway Community Center is described as a vibrant hub where youth, families, and neighbors come together, and it strengthens the fabric of the East Side community. The Sanneh Foundation partners with the Minnesota Department of Education to expand its Dreamline program, which supports K–12 students through in-school and after-school mentoring that builds academic skills, social-emotional growth, and cultural confidence. Sanneh’s Nutritional Services Program fights food insecurity by providing free, healthy meals to children, families, and community members year-round, and its Human Development Program offers paid internships, job readiness training, and mentorship for youth and young adults. The Sanneh Foundation provides programs that strengthen physical health and social and emotional development and advances diversity, equity, and community well-being.
