Spark Equestrian Academy offers riding instruction along with hands-on horse care and barn management. Participants take part in activities such as horse grooming, feeding, catching and haltering a horse in the pasture, and making special treats for the horses. The program also includes group activities, games, crafts, and instruction in understanding herd dynamics and body language, practicing safety in the barn and pasture, saddle and bridle fitting, horse anatomy, leading, groundwork exercises, and an introduction to lunging.

The program includes a Tiny Tots class for ages 3–6, a comprehensive seven-level program for ages 7–17, programs for adults with beginner and advanced options, day camps for ages 6–12, Horsemanship Clinics for new and returning riders, and small group workshops that can be customized to focus on specific skills. Lessons are tailored to meet each rider’s individual needs, with a focus on a positive and supportive environment, an emphasis on character development, responsibility, and teamwork, and a structured yet supportive environment that welcomes riders of all ages and experience levels, from curious beginners to dedicated equestrians.
