Minnesota Blizzard Baseball offers players a range of baseball activities, including a Spring Training Baseball Program in March and April, a Combo Hitting and Throwing Program, and in-season throwing and strength programs. The program also provides hitting lessons, individual lessons, small group training, strength training, remote training, showcases, fall leagues, and tournaments through the Blizzard Baseball Academy.
• Ages: 10–18 years old
The program is led by owner Adam Barta. Coaches include Eddie Gerald (KC Royals / MN Twins), Cole Albers (Iowa Western CC), Kellen Rholl (Cleveland Indians), Nick Novak (Fargo-Moorhead Redhawks), Connor Olson (Minnesota Twins), and other instructors and coaches. The Minnesota Blizzard has been a traveling and club baseball program since 2003 and has won over 150 national tournaments and placed in the top four 300 times. Over the last ten years, more than 515 players from the program have committed to play college baseball, and over 60 players have been drafted or signed as free agents, including 18 players drafted in the top 10 rounds. The program draws players ages 10u–18u from across Minnesota and from the Dakotas, Iowa, Wisconsin, and Canada. Its vision and values are described as the Blizzard Big 5, which guide players through youth years, into high school, and onto college and professional baseball. The Minnesota Blizzard has received attention from KSTP 5, Kare 11, ESPN 1500, Fox9, Channel 6, the Star Tribune, and the Upper Deck Report.
