Young People's Theatre

Young People's Theatre offers main stage productions for students in grades 312 and YPT Jr. shows for students in grades 39. Auditions take place twice a year, once in August and once in January; auditions for the 2026 Fall productions will take place on August 15th and 16th, 2026.

About the provider

Young People's Theatre began in 1993 and is described as a leader in the performing arts for more than 30 years. Its mission says it is a creative home where young artists make extraordinary theatre through training, collaboration, and performance. The program also notes that parents were integral to early productions, including building sets, running the box office, supervising rehearsals, and supporting performances.

All students in grades 3–12 are welcome to audition for the main stage productions. YPT Jr. shows are open to students grades 3-9. Auditions take place twice a year, once in August and once in January.
