Camp Fire Youth Programs is part of Camp Fire, a national youth development nonprofit that offers innovative youth programs across the country. Through playful, inclusive, affordable, and out-of-class experiences, Camp Fire Youth Programs connects young people to the outdoors, to others, and to themselves. All Camp Fire programs run on a mixture of tuition and fees, scholarships, and donations.

Founded in 1910, Camp Fire was America’s first multiracial, multicultural, and nonsectarian organization for girls before women had the right to vote, and it has been coed since 1975. Since 2017, Camp Fire has had 5,450 program sites and has impacted 715,000 youth and families. Camp Fire now has 1,300 program sites across the nation, with 47 affiliates in 24 states offering year-round, youth-driven experiences such as school day programs, afterschool programs, leadership programs, and camps and outdoor education. Camp Fire has been formally affirming of all sexual orientations since 1993 and today welcomes all young people, stating that all are welcome and that it welcomes, affirms, and supports all young people. Camp Fire believes in the dignity and intrinsic worth of every human being and strives to create inclusive environments that celebrate diversity and foster positive relationships. Its mission is to connect young people to the outdoors, to others, and to themselves. Camp Fire partners with organizations that share its values and that help equip youth for a thriving and successful life. One parent from Camp Dakani, part of Camp Fire Heart of Oklahoma, said, “I saw some spark come back to my son, and I am a grateful mama.”
